Appointments

Seeing the Doctor/Nurse Routinely

All of our surgeries are by appointment only. You can book an appointment up to 2 weeks ahead. Please make an appointment to see the doctor or nurse over phone or by coming at the surgery. You have the right to see the doctor of your choice. Appointments are 10 minutes, should you require extra time please make this clear when book your appointment. For emergency appointments (same day) please ring between 8.00 a.m. on the day.

Urgent Problems

Please telephone the surgery between 8:00 on the day and we shall endeavour to give you an appointment. A small number of urgent appointments are available each day. Alternatively you may request the doctor call you back to give advice.

Home Visit Requests

Where possible patients are expected to attend the surgery to be seen. We understand that some patients may be too unwell or are housebound and unable to attend. The doctor will triage for a home visit.  Please call the surgery before 10.00 am to give us enough time to arrange the visit.

Lateness

Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late from their appointment time will not be seen. You need to rebook or may be seen if doctor is free.

Cancellation of Appointments

If you made an appointment and then subsequently realise that you are unable to attend, please telephone the surgery and cancel the appointment beforehand. This enables patients who needs to see a doctor or nurse to use the appointments.

Out of Hours GP Appointments

We have some appointments available out of hours on Mondays , Fridays and weekends at nearby surgery. Please discuss this with reception.

You can obtain advice by calling 111.

You can attend the Walk-In-Centre.

For more serious cases attend Urgent Care at the local hospital.

For emergencies only, go to Accident & emergency.
